Changes to Wages – Salary
Direct Cleaning Services SW Ltd intend as of 30th March 2012 to pay all our employees on a salary basis rather than as we do at present on a weekly basis. This now means you will receive only one payslip per month and the same money per month.
The way this is calculated is your weekly hours, times by your hourly rate, times by 52 weeks per year then divided by 12 equal monthly payments.
For example if you work 15 hours per week at a rate of £6.50 per hour, you earn £97.50 per week times 52 weeks, total pay £5,070.00 per annum. On a four week month you get £390.00, on a five week month you get £487.50.
Now you will get 12 equal monthly payments of £422.50 making a total of £5,070.00 per annum.
The money will still be processed up to the last Thursday of each month and arrive in your account on the Friday.
